How Is OppAlerts Tracking Usage Counted?

One OppAlerts tracking credit covers one prompt or keyword on one provider for one day. Use worked examples to plan weekly usage and separate tracking from research.

One credit is one call. One tracked prompt or keyword, sent to one provider, on one day. If you set a tracking budget, count the provider and scheduled days for each item you plan to monitor.

Each item's weekly usage is:

providers chosen × days ticked = credits per week

Worked examples

A prompt sent to all three AI providers on two days a week costs 6 credits. A hundred of those cost 600 a week.

A keyword sent to both search engines on five days a week costs 10 credits. Five hundred of those cost 5,000 a week.

Run both and you are spending 5,600 credits a week.

Now change the frequency and nothing else. The same hundred prompts checked five days a week cost 1,500 instead of 600. The same five hundred keywords checked twice a week cost 2,000 instead of 5,000.

What that means when you plan

Frequency multiplies. It decides whether your allowance is enough far more often than the number of items you track does.

A large set checked weekly costs less than a small set checked daily. Before you buy frequency, ask what decision changes if a figure is a week old. For most reporting nothing changes, and answers vary enough run to run that you should be reading a trend across weeks regardless.

What is not counted

Prompts and keywords come out of the same weekly allowance. There is no separate quota for each.

Searching the stored indexes, looking up site contacts, running link gap comparisons and scoring content are not tracking calls and cost you nothing from the allowance.

An AI Overview arrives inside a Google keyword request, so it costs no extra call.

Each scheduled prompt and provider combination runs once and produces one sample. Credits are checked when the weekly assignment is saved and not spent call by call, so a failed collection carries no separate charge and no separate refund.

Days, not times

You tick the days you want fresh data on. Collection runs the night before each ticked day, so a Monday tick is a Sunday night run. You do not pick a time.

Archiving an item stops its collection and keeps its history.

Calculate the calls before expanding a tracking schedule. You can then choose coverage and frequency that fit the allowance available to your campaigns.

Let’s discuss how we can work together.

An industry report, a custom dataset, a partnership; a couple of sentences is plenty. Every message comes straight to me, and I read all of them.

If it’s a fit, you’ll hear back quickly with next steps or a time to talk.
