Serpstat is the cheapest full SEO platform in this comparison set, starting at $50 a month. It sells keyword, site and link research metered by daily searches. OppAlerts sells a campaign that provides context for prospecting, monitoring, contact research, content scoring and tracking of three AI providers alongside Google and Bing.

The two are easy to tell apart once you look at what each one counts.
Serpstat counts searches, not tracked items
Its plans give 100, 500, 1,000 and 5,000 searches for sites, keywords and links per day, at $50, $100, $169 and $410 a month. The entry plan allows 5 projects; the rest are unlimited. The $410 plan adds 1,500,000 audit pages and 2,500,000 export rows a month.
That meter suits research work. Every lookup of a domain, a keyword or a backlink profile spends from the daily allowance, and the allowance renews each day. A consultant investigating twenty prospective clients in an afternoon will feel that limit; a team monitoring a fixed keyword set on a schedule usually will not.
OppAlerts counts a weekly call allowance, where one call is one tracked prompt or keyword, on one provider, on one day. You tick which days each item needs fresh data. Research inside the stored indexes is not metered the same way as collection.
Because these are different units, comparing $50 with any OppAlerts figure directly would be misleading. Compare the work instead: how many domains you look up in a day, and how many prompts and keywords you need collected each week.

Serpstat also states that its brand monitoring covers ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and more than 140 other AI models. That is its own figure. A model count does not state what is collected for each model or how often. Check report contents and collection frequency for the models you need before comparing coverage.
