OppAlerts and seoClarity Compared

Compare seoClarity and OppAlerts by the reports and research your organization needs. Distinguish enterprise AI analytics from campaign-based content and placement research.

If you evaluate software for an SEO organization, you need to distinguish enterprise reporting requirements from the campaign research individual teams perform. seoClarity is an enterprise SEO platform whose AI line, ArcAI, covers answer tracking, bot activity, content generation and error detection. It publishes no prices and quotes after a conversation. OppAlerts is a smaller, self-contained product built around a campaign that provides context for prospecting, monitoring, contact research, content scoring and tracking.

OppAlerts publishes this comparison. seoClarity detects errors in AI answers and attributes AI traffic; OppAlerts does neither.

The comparison is mostly about scope and procurement rather than a feature count, and seoClarity covers three things OppAlerts does not attempt at all.

Three capabilities OppAlerts does not have

  • Detection of hallucinations and errors in AI responses. seoClarity states it identifies incorrect statements about a brand in AI answers. OppAlerts reports what an answer named or cited and stores the answer text. It does not judge whether a claim about your business is factually true, and no OppAlerts report should be read as doing so.
  • AI search traffic and conversion tracking. That measurement requires the customer's own analytics. OppAlerts does not connect to or read your analytics, so it cannot attribute visits or revenue to AI answers. The difference between answer visibility and traffic covers why that distinction matters.
  • AI Bot Activity. seoClarity reports whether AI bots access your pages, which is server-log work. OppAlerts never sees your logs.

seoClarity also includes an AI Content Writer. OppAlerts does not write or publish content.

If any of those four decides your purchase, it decides it in seoClarity's favor and the rest of this page will not change that.

How the two are bought

seoClarity publishes no self-serve amounts. Its ArcAI packages are quoted, and the pricing page read for this comparison did not state plan limits, engine lists or collection volumes. That means a buyer cannot compare it on paper: you have to obtain a quote against a defined workload before any cost comparison is possible.

When you do, ask for the same three numbers you would ask any tracker: how many prompts, against how many engines, at what frequency. Then convert that into a monthly collection count so it can be compared with a self-serve product. Enterprise packaging often bundles collection in a way that looks generous until the arithmetic is done.

OppAlerts is bought as a self-serve product with a weekly call allowance, where one call is one tracked prompt or keyword, on one provider, on one day. You choose which days each item runs.

Where OppAlerts covers work seoClarity does not describe

Nothing on the seoClarity pricing page describes an opportunity-type prospect index, stored website contact details, a news, blog and podcast index, or PageRank history.

  • Prospect Index, searched by meaning as well as keyword and filtered by opportunity type: guest contribution pages, resource lists, expert roundups, podcasts, industry directories, award programs and speaking submissions. This answers where a brand could appear next.
  • Site Info, returning the stored public contact pages, emails, phone numbers and social profiles for a site, so the placement can be pursued.
  • News Index over indexed news, blog and podcast content, for brand and competitor coverage.
  • Backlinks DB: Link Gap and Brand Unlinked Mentions, for link opportunities that follow from coverage.
  • PageRank history, monthly link-graph measurements for a host, its www variant and its domain.
  • Content Optimizer compares a draft you paste in with up to three categories you select, one per taxonomy, and lists the phrases it does not contain. It reads up to 8,192 bytes at a time.

The campaign is the connecting structure: the business, its brands, its competitors and three buyer personas are defined once, and every report selects results against that definition.

Choosing between them

Choose seoClarity when you are buying enterprise SEO as a program: error detection in AI answers, bot activity on your own site, traffic and conversion attribution, SKU-level shopping visibility, content generation, and a support relationship to match.

Choose OppAlerts when the requirement is finding and pursuing placements rather than auditing existing websites, when a self-serve purchase is preferred to a quote, and when several people need access without a negotiated seat count.

These are different sizes of purchase for different departments, and a large organization may reasonably run both.

Before deciding, test the required reports and research tasks against each offer. Confirm the organizational requirements as well as the individual user's workflow.

Let’s discuss how we can work together.

An industry report, a custom dataset, a partnership; a couple of sentences is plenty. Every message comes straight to me, and I read all of them.

If it’s a fit, you’ll hear back quickly with next steps or a time to talk.
