OppAlerts for SEO Practitioners

Connect AI and organic search tracking with content and link research in OppAlerts. Inspect cited pages, qualify prospects and decide which work belongs in your next SEO plan.

If you deliver SEO work, you need to connect search observations with content research, prospecting and website checks. OppAlerts adds prospecting, contact research, coverage monitoring and content checks to search tracking. It does not audit websites. Keep your existing tool for broken links, redirects, indexation and page speed.

Keywords and prompts on one allowance

Tracked keywords go to Google and Bing. Tracked prompts go to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode. Both draw on the same weekly allowance, with no separate quota.

One credit is one item, on one provider, on one day. Five hundred keywords on both engines twice a week is 2,000 credits; a hundred prompts on three providers twice a week is another 600.

The practical effect is that adding AI answer tracking to an existing keyword program is a reallocation rather than a second subscription with its own units to reconcile.

The AI Overview arrives with the organic position

A single Google request returns the organic results, the ads and the AI Overview together. That is the most useful technical detail here for an SEO team.

It means Overview coverage costs no extra call and applies across your whole keyword set. If you track five hundred keywords, you have Overview observations for five hundred keywords.

The case worth working is a keyword that ranks and is not cited. The page is already competitive for the query, so something specific about the summary's sources explains the gap. Inspect them: where the Overview consistently cites third-party reviews and roundups, editing your own page will not change the outcome, and the work is appearing on those pages instead. AI Overview tracking sets out the four states and what each asks you to do.

What changes about how you report

Answers vary between runs, so prompt tracking cannot be reported like keyword tracking. There is no position, and a week-on-week move is usually noise.

Report presence across weeks with the denominator stated, and competitor comparison under the same prompts, which is fair regardless of variability.

Keep four things separate: AI mentions, organic positions, visits and purchases. No position reported here establishes traffic.

The link work you can stop doing by hand

Link gap against named competitors, pages naming you without a link, and prospect search by opportunity type rather than only by what competitors already earned.

Two things attach to those results that usually require other subscriptions: the contact route each site publishes, and month-by-month link history so you can tell a rising site from one that peaked three years ago.

What you keep

Your site auditor. Your keyword research tool if you work at depth, since that is not this product's strength. An outreach platform if you send at volume, because nothing is sent here.

During planning, identify the content or link task supported by the report and keep technical-audit work assigned to the appropriate tool.

Let’s discuss how we can work together.

An industry report, a custom dataset, a partnership; a couple of sentences is plenty. Every message comes straight to me, and I read all of them.

If it’s a fit, you’ll hear back quickly with next steps or a time to talk.
