If you research several publishers, you need to identify which sites warrant a detailed lookup before preparing contact notes. Site Info: Multi-Site looks up a list of hosts in one request. Each row summarizes available page records, email addresses, phone numbers, social accounts and feeds.
Paste up to 10 sites, one per line. A longer list is refused with both counts shown and nothing is looked up; it is not silently cut to the first ten. Use the summary to identify which records need full inspection, then open a site name for its detailed record.
Separate a count from the displayed examples
The count columns report available members even when the displayed list is shortened. A short visible list does not mean the record contains only those entries, so read the count rather than counting what you can see.
The Pages column counts collection records, including repeat observations. It does not measure the current number of unique pages on a website. A high figure describes collection activity rather than the size of the site.
Missing contacts can reflect limited collection or a website that uses a form. They do not establish that a business has closed or has no contact route.
Use it to triage, not to decide
The value here is reducing a long list to the few worth reading individually. A useful sequence:
- Split the candidate list into batches of no more than 10 sites.
- Set aside rows with no contact record at all for a separate manual check, since an empty record often means a form-only contact page rather than an absent one.
- Mark rows with a Contact, Partner or Affiliate page path, which are the ones most likely to state a process.
- Open those records individually and verify the current editorial process on the live site.
- Take the same shortlist into Link Graph: Multi-Site for the link history.
Running the two multi-site reports over the same shortlist is the efficient order, because contact availability and link history eliminate different rows.
What the bulk view does not do
It reduces repeated lookups while preserving a separate decision for each site. It does not make every returned address suitable for the same message.
Publications provide different contact methods: a submissions form, a general enquiries address or a named editor. Match the message to each publication's instructions.
When reviewing the shortlist, use the available contact and publishing information to choose the next site-specific check.
