Which AI Engines Does OppAlerts Track?

OppAlerts tracks ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode prompts. Google keyword tracking includes AI Overviews; Bing is also supported. Claude and Perplexity are not tracked.

Tracked prompts go to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode. Tracked keywords go to Google, which returns organic results, ads and the AI Overview in one request, and to Bing, which returns organic results and ads. If you are setting up visibility tracking, choose the supported providers that match the search experiences you need to review.

Claude and Perplexity are not available

Neither is tracked and neither can be added on request. Collection works the way it works, and this is not a roadmap item waiting for enough people to ask.

If your reports have to include Claude or Perplexity, buy a product that tracks them. Several competitors cover both.

Campaign research uses a different list

Campaign research at setup runs on its own configured models. Those are not the providers your tracked prompts get sent to.

So a model you saw named during setup is not necessarily one you can track over time. When a specific provider matters to your reporting, check it against the tracking list above and nothing else.

Why Google appears twice

Google AI Mode is tracked as a prompt, because it returns an answer and its sources and no organic results at all. Google AI Overviews arrive with a tracked keyword, because they sit above the conventional results for that search.

Two separate search experiences, two separate collected results. Keep them apart in your reporting. How AI Mode and AI Overviews differ covers why.

Before creating the tracking set, distinguish prompts from keywords and select the relevant providers. That keeps the resulting report aligned with your intended coverage.

Let’s discuss how we can work together.

An industry report, a custom dataset, a partnership; a couple of sentences is plenty. Every message comes straight to me, and I read all of them.

If it’s a fit, you’ll hear back quickly with next steps or a time to talk.
