Conductor Alternatives for Enterprise AEO and SEO

Compare Conductor alternatives for enterprise SEO, AI tracking and content production. Review full-suite replacements alongside smaller tools with published pricing.

If you are reviewing an enterprise search contract, you need to identify the reporting, content and organizational requirements a replacement must meet. Conductor sells Conductor Intelligence as an enterprise AEO and SEO suite with AI Content Generation on every tier. It publishes no prices. Teams look elsewhere when they need a smaller contract, a larger AI collection allowance, or published pricing.

OppAlerts publishes this page and is one of the alternatives on it. It is a self-serve purchase and not an enterprise suite.

Start with the allowance, because it is the most checkable number Conductor publishes. AI Search Credits are allocated by the year, at 2,500 a year on Growth, which is about 208 a month. What one credit buys is not stated on the pages read, so ask before treating that as a shortfall. Every self-serve option below states a monthly or weekly allowance in a defined unit.

seoClarity, the like-for-like enterprise swap

seoClarity is the closest match in size and buying process, also quoted rather than published. Its ArcAI line includes AI Search Engine Tracking, AI Overviews Tracking and AI Bot Activity. It reports brand citations, mentions and tone, plus AI search traffic and conversions. It also provides SKU-level AI Shopping, an AI Content Writer, and detection of hallucinations and errors in AI responses.

Error detection and traffic attribution are not named on Conductor's pages. seoClarity offers more detailed AI reporting with a similar procurement process.

Semrush, when you want a published price

Semrush Advanced at $549 a month covers 40 websites monitored, 5,000 keywords tracked daily and 200 prompts tracked daily. It also includes SEO share of voice, historical data, keyword cannibalization analysis, multi-location and device tracking, Site Audit and API data integration. Lower plans start at $139, with MCP access from the $199 Starter plan.

Two hundred prompts tracked daily is a materially different collection volume from a yearly credit allocation, and it comes with a number you can put in a spreadsheet. What Semrush does not include is the enterprise account relationship and custom limits.

Profound, when content generation is the reason you pay

Conductor includes AI Content Generation on every tier, and Profound is the specialist for that job. Its Agents module takes a topic, a brand kit and tone guidelines and returns briefs and full drafts, with approved drafts publishing to a CMS and routing through Slack. It tracks up to nine answer engines at Enterprise.

Check the plan boundaries. Starter tracks 50 prompts on ChatGPT alone with one seat, Growth covers 100 prompts across three engines with three seats, and API access is Enterprise only. As with Conductor, Profound does not state what one Agents credit buys, so ask the same question of both.

Scrunch, when the site itself needs work

Scrunch Core at $250 a month is the cheapest published option that still covers site-side work: five site audits a month, Content Delivery and Agent Traffic. It includes four engines, 125 unique prompts, one brand workspace, five user licenses, one country, two languages, five competitors and three personas. Its nine-engine list, API access and SSO are Enterprise.

SE Ranking, for content and tracking at a lower price

SE Ranking is the cheapest published route to both jobs Conductor bundles. Its $129 a month plan includes an AI Writer, 2,000 keywords tracked daily, 100 prompts tracked daily, 10 projects and 250,000 audit pages a month. The $279 plan raises that to 5,000 keywords, 250 daily prompts and 30 projects with three manager seats.

OppAlerts, when the gap is placements and outreach

OppAlerts does not generate content, does not audit sites, and tracks fewer engines than Conductor, with no Perplexity coverage. Its API and MCP server are available for read-only access.

It covers the work none of the enterprise suites describe.

One campaign definition holding the business, its brands, its competitors and three buyer personas provides context for each of these:

  • A prospect index searched by meaning across opportunity types including guest contribution pages, resource lists, expert roundups, podcasts, directories and award programs.
  • Stored public contact details for those sites.
  • A news, blog and podcast index for brand and competitor coverage.
  • A backlink database with a link gap report.
  • Monthly PageRank history.
  • A content optimizer comparing a draft with categories you select.
  • Tracking of ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode alongside Google and Bing.

Its collection unit is defined and weekly, which makes it straightforward to compare against any vendor once you know what their credit buys.

Whichever way you go, ask each vendor to price the same defined workload: a fixed prompt count, a fixed engine list and a fixed frequency, converted to a monthly figure. How to compare AI search tool costs sets out the conversion.

Take those requirements into the vendor evaluation before comparing quotes. You can then judge the offer against the work and access your organization needs.

Let’s discuss how we can work together.

An industry report, a custom dataset, a partnership; a couple of sentences is plenty. Every message comes straight to me, and I read all of them.

If it’s a fit, you’ll hear back quickly with next steps or a time to talk.
