If you choose a keyword tracker, you need coverage, frequency and access that fit the search reports your team produces. OppAlerts publishes this page and sells one of the products on it. Its rank tracking is the most limited in this group, and the page says where.
Rank trackers look alike and charge for different things. Most of these comparisons come apart on how many keywords you get, how many people can log in, and what arrives with each result.
Count the people before you count the keywords
Seat pricing is the cost buyers miss, and it varies more between these products than the keyword allowances do.
AccuRanker charges nothing for users or domains on any plan. Ahrefs includes one user and charges $40, $60 or $80 a month for every extra one, by plan. SE Ranking gives you one manager seat, or three on the higher plan. OppAlerts does not sell seats.
Work it through. Five people on Ahrefs Standard is $249 plus four users at $60, so $489 a month. The same five on AccuRanker Professional pay $224 no matter how many of them there are. No feature comparison in this category moves the number that far.
Keyword allowances at published prices
| Product | Price | Keywords tracked daily | Users included |
|---|---|---|---|
| SE Ranking | $129/mo | 2,000, plus 100 AI prompts | 1 manager seat |
| SE Ranking | $279/mo | 5,000, plus 250 AI prompts | 3 manager seats |
| Ahrefs Lite | $129/mo | 750 | 1, extras $40 |
| Ahrefs Standard | $249/mo | 2,000 | 1, extras $60 |
| Semrush SEO | $139/mo | 500 | Not stated on the page read |
| Semrush Advanced | $549/mo | 5,000, plus 200 AI prompts | Not stated on the page read |
| AccuRanker Professional | $224/mo | 2,000 to 5,000 | Unlimited |
| AccuRanker Expert | $764/mo | 10,000 to 25,000 | Unlimited |
SE Ranking wins on keywords per dollar and it is not close. 2,000 tracked daily at $129 with 100 AI prompts thrown in, against 750 from Ahrefs and 500 from Semrush at about the same money.
Serpstat prices on a different axis entirely, from $50 a month, and counts searches for sites, keywords and links per day at 100, 500, 1,000 and 5,000. You are buying research lookups, not scheduled tracking. Do not treat the two as interchangeable.
Everything that arrives with the position
A position on its own is thin. What surrounds it decides whether the report is any use.
AccuRanker gives you daily updates with search intent, tagging, advanced filtering, forecasting, and Google Search Console and Analytics connections. Expert adds dynamic tagging, Tag Cloud, AI CTR and AI Search Volume. On a large keyword program nothing here goes deeper.
Semrush adds Site Audit, keyword research, competitor analysis, cannibalization analysis, and multi-location and device tracking higher up, with SEO share of voice at Advanced.
Ahrefs puts its crawl and backlink index next to the tracked keywords, with 6 months to 5 years of history depending on plan.
SE Ranking includes site auditing at 250,000 or 2,000,000 pages a month, and an AI Writer.
OppAlerts has one technical difference from everything else in this category. A single Google keyword request returns the organic results, the ads and the AI Overview together, so a keyword's Overview citation and its conventional position land in the same run instead of being tracked as two separate jobs. Bing returns organic results and ads.
Where OppAlerts fits, and where it does not
It is not the strongest rank tracker here. No forecasting, no cannibalization analysis, no site audit, and no keyword research database anywhere near what Semrush or AccuRanker hold. If your job is 20,000 keywords tracked daily, buy AccuRanker or Semrush Advanced and stop reading.
The meter is different. One call is one tracked prompt or keyword, on one provider, on one day, and prompts and keywords come out of the same weekly allowance. A team that wants AI answers and organic positions runs both off one number. You tick collection days per item instead of accepting a fixed daily schedule.
The same campaign carries the rest: a prospect index searched by meaning across opportunity types, the contact details those sites publish, a news and blog index for brand and competitor coverage, and a link gap report. It also feeds monthly PageRank history and a content optimizer that compares drafts against categories from a taxonomy.
